The R³ research group within the Laboratory of Industrial Engineering (LGI) at CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Saclay. Our goal is to advance cutting-edge research, delivering both fundamental theoretical contributions and practical solutions with real-world impact. We maintain strong international collaborations with leading research groups and actively cultivate projects and partnerships locally.

Our research is grounded in stochastic processes and data-driven methodologies, with a strong emphasis on mathematical optimization, machine learning, and uncertainty quantification for decision-making in the design and operations of complex industrial systems. We are strongly connected to several industry partners with the chair Risk and Resilience of Complex Systems (RRCS), supported by Électricité de France (EDF), Orange, Réseau de transport d'électricité (RTE), Natran (GRTgaz), and the Société nationale des chemins de fer français (SNCF). This is an arena to define case studies, share knowledge, data, and experiences, develop methods, and implement benchmarks and prototypes of tools.
